Nabil Ghilas: Says he is closer to joining Porto than any other team

Ghilas has reportedly caught the eye of several clubs this summer after netting 13 goals last season for Portuguese outfit Moreirense.

West Ham United, West Bromwich Albion and Everton have all been credited with an interest in the 23-year-old, who was also linked with a move to Marseille in January.

However, his desire to play in Europe has given Porto the edge and he has suggested a deal could be imminent.

"I am much closer to Porto than any other team," he explained.

"I would like to play in the Champions League and that makes a big difference.

"To go to England could have been perfect but when the biggest club in the league come to you, you take notice,

"Nothing is done yet but we are not far from agreeing everything with them."
