The 22-year-old's decision to move to Underhill will come as a boost to Edgar Davids as his team prepare for a battle to avoid relegation.

Jenkins is the second player to leave Vicarage Road this week on loan after fellow midfielder Craig Forsyth joined Derby.

Forsyth made his Rams debut at Cardiff on Tuesday night, where the visitors earned a 1-1 draw.
