The Championship club have struggled in recent games, picking up just one point in their last three fixtures against Cardiff, who won promotion to the Premier League on Tuesday.

The Hornets face Blackburn Rovers at Vicarage Road on Saturday before meeting Leicester the following week and Leeds on the last day of the season.

"We still have three games left," Pudil told chovanecsports.cz. "We need to get on a run to give us some self-belief before the play-offs. I think Matej (Vydra) will start to score again and his goals always help us.

"I wouldn't use the word 'crisis'. We've had a rather tough draw and we conceded some late goals. I don't know why but we have struggled against some of the weaker teams.

"We've lost the chance to earn out right promotion now, and we would need a miracle for it to happen.

"But we are almost a completely new team, getting to the play-offs in itself is a huge achievement.

"We've sort of coped well with a tough series of matches- we won at Hull, drew with Cardiff and lost our last two. The last one, at Peterborough, went wrong in terms of our performance. For 60 minutes we were terrible."

ove it when Jose accuses others of being defensive, cynical and playing to win. If I was Wenger, I'd get that quote laminated and framed - surely the biggest compliment he's ever received from Mourinho. You've got him riled Arsene - you're relevant again!

t's wrong to be making a joke out of Bender's name at the expense of gay people. It's the kind of childish, uncivilised thing that Football365 would deride and ridicule if it was another media outlet saying. Why is there a need for jokes like this? Does it make your writers feel like men? F365 might suggest that I 'lighten up', but it is genuinely traumatic for people who have been oppressed all their lives to be the butt of jokes, and to be told...

ou can't blame De Gea for wanting to leave, he has enough to do in front of goal as it is as well as taking on the role of Man Utd's version of Derek Acorah in trying to contact and organise a defence that isn't there.
