Sky sources understand Udinese have rejected an £8m bid from an unnamed Premier League club for Matej Vydra.

Matej Vydra: Premier League club reported to have £8m offer turned down for Udi

Vydra impressed during a loan spell at Watford last season, scoring 22 goals for Gianfranco Zola's men.

It is understood that two Bundesliga clubs had previously been unsuccessful in securing the signature of the 21-year-old.

And the Serie A side have now reportedly turned down an offer to bring the Czech Republic international to England's top flight.

ell, if he'd be unable to reject an offer from Barcelona or Madrid, he may as well join Arsenal while he's waiting for them to call. It's a logical progression.
