Watford have signed former Manchester United defender Reece Brown and made Ikechi Anya's move permanent.

Gianfranco Zola: Watford boss bolsters squad with signing of Reece Brown and Ike

Brown, younger brother of ex-United man Wes, has agreed a two-year deal to join Watford after being released from United in May.

The 21-year-old, who joined United at the age of nine, joins on a free transfer and has been training with the Hornets since the beginning of pre-season.

Brown is joined at the club by Anya, who has signed a three-year deal after spending last season on loan at Vicarage Road from Granada.

The 25-year-old made 29 appearances for Watford as they reached the play-off final.
