Brighton & Hove Albion and Huddersfield Town enjoyed their first wins of the season, as Barnsley, Charlton Athletic and Sheffield Wednesday all picked up their first point.

Queens Park Rangers left it late to beat Ipswich Town, Leicester City edged out local rivals Derby County, while Bournemouth and Burnley recorded home wins.

Jamie Mackie gave Nottingham Forest a dream start, and Andy Reid and Henri Lansbury, also scored in a 3-0 home win over Bolton.

Marvin Emnes scored a last-minute equaliser as Middlesbrough snatched a 1-1 draw at home to Blackpool, who dropped points for the first time this season.

Reading twice let a two-goal lead slip at the Madejski Stadium as Diego Fabbrini netted a last-minute equaliser to earn Watford a 3-3 draw.

Tom Hitchcock was also a last minute scorer as his goal clinched a 1-0 win for QPR over Ipswich at Loftus Road.

Andrew Crofts' 73rd minute goal provided Oscar Garcia with his first win as Brighton manager following a 1-0 success at Birmingham.

James Vaughan's 57th minute goal handed Huddersfield a first three points of the campaign at Millwall, who have now lost all three matches.

Lewis Grabban continued his good start to the season as his 43rd minute goal earned Bournemouth a 1-0 home win over Wigan, who had Callum McManaman sent off in the second half.

Derby goalkeeper Lee Grant's first-half own goal gifted Leicester a 1-0 triumph in the east Midlands derby at Pride Park.

Leeds maintained their unbeaten start to the season after Ross McCormack's second-half equaliser secured a 1-1 draw at home in the derby with Sheffield Wednesday.

Goals in the space of five second-half minutes from Keith Treacy and Sam Vokes earned Burnley a 2-0 home win over Yeovil Town.

Chris O'Grady's brace appeared to put Barnsley on course for a first win, but Charlton rallied to force a 2-2 draw at Oakwell.

h Daniel. I could spend hours on this subject putting the world to rights. You can even take a step back and ask why football fans (and society in general) have this need to know that something will happen before it actually does. There are times this important, when it comes to things like war, food production and natural disasters. A man you've never met changing his job? Not so much.

reat article. Hits the nail on the head. Encapsulates why I don't read tabloid newspapers anymore. The only thing worse is the 'told you so first' headline when they get lucky.
