Reece Brown: Linked with move to Ipswich

The 21-year-old, who is the brother of former United defender Wes Brown, is rated very highly within the corridors of power at Old Trafford.

Brown enjoyed a spell on loan at Coventry City earlier this season before being recalled by United last month.

The England Under 20 international has had spells out on loan at Bradford City, Doncaster Rovers and Oldham Athletic during the last few seasons and Sir Alex Ferguson feels Brown is best served by going out on loan again for regular first-team football.

A number of clubs are thought to have expressed an interest in taking Brown on loan, but Ipswich are hoping to lure him to Portman Road.

Ipswich boss Mick McCarthy is thought to be an admirer of Brown and is ready to bring him on loan for the rest of the season.
