Matty Fryatt: Hull striker now back in full training

The 27-year-old has spent seven months on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on an Achilles injury but returned to full training with the Tigers this week.

City manager Steve Bruce told the Hull Daily Mail: "We'll see how he is after coming back into full training but that (Oldham game) could be a possibility.

"He trained Monday and Tuesday and he could still be a big plus for us in the last few weeks of the season.

"It's clear he's kept himself in magnificent nick and given himself the best possible chance to come back as soon as he can.

"We still have to be careful with him. We'll wait and see if there's any sort of reaction first but it's been promising to see him back involved. I certainly hope he's still got some part to play this season."

haos reached its ultimate reckoning last weekend with Tony Hibbert looking assured at left back and Osman looking like a cultured ball playing midfielder before busting a gut to get to the back post for a Samuel Eto'o ball. Different chaos but chaos. If Kone scores the winner tonight I fear the world will end.
