Wanderers secured their fourth successive 1-0 home win at the expense of Huddersfield on Tuesday night, a sixth-straight triumph at the Reebok keeping Freedman's men in the play-off hunt.

Additionally, a solid foundation is providing a platform for the likes of David Ngog, Marvin Sordell and Chris Eagles to express themselves - the latter two combining for the decisive moment in midweek.

"What happens is it becomes soul-destroying for a manager coming up against you, thinking 'these guys know how to grind it out, these guys are organised, they're disciplined'," Freedman said.

"On Tuesday night, with 10 minutes to go, we went to three at the back and they're organised. We've practised that.

"It's heartbreaking for coaches who come here thinking it's going to be a difficult match.

"That allows the likes of David Ngog and Marvin Sordell to get on the front foot and go and express themselves without having any fear of losing the ball or having opportunities because they know at the back we're going to be nice and strong.

"This team have got different varieties to their attacking play and the qualities at the back, the determination that we've shown, has got to give us a chance of winning a few games."
