Dead Saunders: Is aware of the task at hand

Saunders' men head to Brighton knowing only a victory will keep their hopes of staying up alive, and even then they are still reliant on results elsewhere going in their favour.

The Molineux boss believes his side are capable of achieving the great escape on Saturday but has already hinted he has started to think about the potential of next season in League One.

He told the club's official website: "It is going to be touch and go. It is unlikely but not impossible.

"If we win our game and Barnsley and Peterborough lose, it is going to be within a goal or two.

"We've just got to go there with belief that we can win our game; then we need Crystal Palace to turn on a performance against Peterborough.

"We have to try and make something happen, and if it doesn't we will start again."
