Goodman, 19, was an unused substitute on three occasions for the Lions this term before rounding off the campaign with a loan spell at Luton in the Blue Square Bet Premier.

"I was a bit disappointed not to have made my Millwall debut last season, but it was great to get some senior experience under John Still at Luton," Goodman told the club's official website.

"With a new manager coming in here every player will feel that they have a chance of impressing in pre-season and forcing their way into his squad for August 3.

"I'm certainly no different and I'll be working hard to prove myself."
