Danny Haynes: Available on a free transfer

Haynes' contract expires next month and although Charlton were hoping to keep hold of the 25-year-old, they have been forced to let him go as they look to trim their squad.

The news is a blow for Charlton as Haynes has impressed at The Valley since arriving from Barnsley in January 2012.

Haynes helped the Addicks win promotion to the Championship last term and he also played a key role in helping them secure their Championship status this season.

News of Haynes' availability on a free transfer has alerted a number of Championship clubs, with the former Ipswich and Bristol City man having scored seven goals in 20 appearances this season.

Not sure if he is any good as a manager (never thought about it) but the 'headbutt in the technical area' and what he said to Pelligrini were just brilliant, it was as if he was trying to recreate the end of the Alan Partridge Xmas special when Alan punched a man in a wheelchair and verbally abused Tony Heirs.
