Gary Johnson: Set to announce new arrivals

Johnson is yet to announce any additions following promotion to the Championship but he expects to see a number of players put pen to paper when his squad is reunited, along with out-of-contract duo Sam Foley and Kevin Dawson.

"I've already agreed with three or four players that they will be signing contracts on July 1 and I'll let people know when we're back because it hasn't actually happened just yet," he told the Western Gazette. "I'm pretty sure as well that Foley and Dawson will sign their contracts.

"We will probably be able to say before the first, but at the moment we're still negotiating little points (with the new players) and you don't want to be saying something and them not doing it.

"They won't be household names and we're not going to be able to do it like that."

ah, Fergie is just having another pop at Rooney. He just wants to put him down whenever he gets a chance. Rooney is by far the best English player. Carrick is not far behind, mind. However, by elevating Carrick like that, Sir is having a dig at Wayne. Fergie is well-known for mind games like that. Good to see he's still feisty.
