John Cofie: Being chased by several clubs

Cofie, 20, is available on a free transfer after leaving Old Trafford earlier this summer.

United signed Cofie in 2007 as a 14-year-old from Burnley with United beating a host of clubs to the teenage sensation's signature.

Cofie failed to make the breakthrough at Old Trafford and he had spells out on loan at Royal Antwerp, Sheffield United and Notts County over the last 18 months.

The powerful striker is keen to fix himself up at a new club as he looks to be playing regular first-team football and a number of Championship sides are battling for his signature.

hould have stayed because we carried him for 6.5 years. And then he has a breakthrough season, and was gone soon after. MU fans, you would be as disgusted had C Ronaldo left in 2007 and not 2009.
