Ten-man Blackpool edged a 1-0 victory over promotion hopefuls Crystal Palace at Bloomfield Road to propel the Seasiders away from the drop zone, with Matt Phillips netting an 85th-minute winner after Barry Ferguson had been sent off for a second yellow just before half-time.

The tussle between Millwall and Ipswich at The Den ended in a goalless draw as the two sides shared the spoils.

In Monday's late game, Jake Buxton grabbed a late winner as Derby came from behind to beat Leeds 2-1 at Elland Road and leave manager Neil Warnock to decide that it was time to part company with the Yorkshire club.
