Bristol City have completed the loan signing of Derby County defender James O'Connor until January 13.

James O'Connor: Has agreed a four month loan spell

The 28-year-old, who has been made available for transfer by the Rams and is in the final year of his contract, makes the switch having previously spent time training with the first-team squad at Failand.

O'Connor is reunited with head coach Sean O'Driscoll who he worked with at Bournemouth and then Doncaster.

The deal is subject to Football League approval.
