The 19-year-old, who plays as a central attacking midfielder but can also feature out wide, has turned heads with his performances for the Pilgrims.

Young, who made his 60th league appearance in the 2-1 defeat at Bristol Rovers on New Year's Day, is understood to have attracted interest from the Premier League, with Arsenal thought to be monitoring him.

West Brom scouts have also reportedly watched him in action three times, while a number of Championship clubs are believed to be keen.

The teenager, who also has an eye for a goal and has scored two this season, came through the youth ranks at Plymouth, making his senior debut in January 2011.
