Peter Odemwingie: West Brom striker is wanted by QPR

The 31-year-old forward, who was born in Uzbekistan, was left out of West Brom's squad which lost 3-2 at Reading.

QPR made an enquiry about the Nigeria international earlier this week and now they have followed that up with a firm offer.

West Brom are yet to respond, but QPR are hopeful that they can succeed with a proposed deal within the next week.

Odemwingie has played just nine league games under Steve Clarke so far this term, scoring four goals.
