Saido Berahino: No loan deal

The highly-rated pair are both being chased by a host of Championship clubs, but they look set to be disappointed as head coach Steve Clarke does not want either to leave.

"Everybody in the Championship would take Craig Dawson and Saido Berahino," Clarke told the Express and Star.

"But they're not going out because I like them and they're in my plans. For the foreseeable future they're not going out.

"That can change but, at the moment, there are no plans to let either out.

"We have been inundated with calls for both of them."

Dawson has featured on the bench three times this term, whilst Berahino has come on in two league games.
