Berahino points to hard work

Saido Berahino believes the hard work done by the England Under-21s in training is starting to show on the pitch.

The West Bromwich Albion starlet has been in wonderful form for the Young Lions, with four goals in three games.

After the 5-0 hammering of Lithuania on Tuesday, in which he scored twice, Berahino was quick to praise his team-mates.

"The lads prepared really well for this, the last two games, and in training everything was going right for us. We put the hard work in in training and it is good to see it happening on the pitch," he told Sky Sports News.

"In training we have been so calm, and it is a great group to be around each other. It showed that the gelling of the team is great and we played with no fear."
