Frank Nouble: Mick McCarthy's fourth January signing completed

Nouble becomes the fourth signing of the January transfer window for Town boss Mick McCarthy, who has also brought Patrick Kisnorbo, David McGoldrick and Aaron McLean to Portman Road in the last seven days.

He passed a medical late on Monday and linked up with his new team-mates for training on Tuesday morning after signing his contract.

Nouble began his career at Chelsea before moving to West Ham in 2009, making loan moves to West Brom, Swindon, Swansea, Charlton, Gillingham and two separate spells at Oakwell with Barnsley.

He was tempted away from the Hammers by Wolves last summer on a two-year deal but struggled to break into Stale Solbakken's plans before the Norwegian boss was fired last weekend.
