The centre-half was sent off after a clash with Angel Martinez towards the end of Blackpool's 2-1 win at Molineux.

Wolves submitted a claim for wrongful dismissal to the Football Association, but a statement on their website confirmed Johnson's three-match ban will stand.

The 29-year-old misses Championship games against Leicester, Leeds and Derby.
