Wolves have taken an impressive 13 points from their first five games in Sky Bet League One as they find themselves in England's third tier for the first time since 1989 following back-to-back relegations.

But Jackett, who took the reins at Molineux over the summer, knows there is a long way to go this term and wants his side to keep up the pace at the top of the table, continuing at home to Swindon this weekend.

"We must meet these standards and show the consistency, professionalism and attention to detail against what will be a very motivated division against Wolves," he told the club's official website.

"Their challenge now is to carry it on after some promise and go on and have a successful season.

"It's still very early days and while there is some promise and encouragement for the future, that's all there is at the moment.

"That's nice, and good for the players to see as a group they're capable and also very important for the supporters to have an idea five games in whether they're in for an optimistic season or a pessimistic one."
