Cameron Jerome: Stoke striker has started just once in the Premier League

Jerome has started only one game in the Premier League this season, but has come off the bench to score crucial goals against Newcastle United, Southampton and Reading.

He has consistently been linked with a temporary switch to the Championship in order to play regularly, with Blackburn Rovers and Leeds United reported to be keen on the 26-year-old.

However, Pulis is adamant Jerome is an integral part of his squad and has no problems with the former Birmingham City's complaints about his lack of starts.

"Cameron has been exceptional," said Pulis in the Daily Express. "His attitude has been first class.

"We didn't have any enquiries and I wouldn't have accepted it anyway because I think he's an important part of the group and the team. He can score all sorts of goals, he has pace and power.

"When the game opens up in the last quarter of an hour, he's a great player to bring off the bench. He's a game changer without a doubt.

"But he's still moaning and groaning because he reckons he should be playing all the time. I'd be really disappointed if he wasn't moaning and groaning."
