The FC Copenhagen striker is the leading scorer in the Danish Superleague, having scored 17 goals in his first season as a regular.

The 20-year-old, who is 6'4", has also transferred his club form to the international stage, scoring on his debut for Denmark last month.

Sorensen told sporten.dk: "There is definitely interest for Cornelius from Stoke.

"This is not the first time that I have been consulted about Danish players and I've told them that he is a special talent and that he has done well in Denmark.

"I said that he would be worth a look and they have done that. Now it is up to the club to decide whether he is the right fit for them and to discover if he would be interested."

Tony Pulis, who was reportedly amongst the crowd as Copenhagen drew with Odense on Sunday, may face competition from Arsenal for the striker's signature, but Sorensen hopes Stoke will be an attractive option for the youngster.

The goalkeeper continued: "As a young player it is important to play every game and I'm sure Cornelius will factor that into his final decision.

"He does have the right build for Premier League football and I sense that he has the right attitude. Only time will tell if he ends up at Stoke."

t's why Mourinho is so successful. He gives players a specific, limited set of functions to perform. They are but a cog in a machine. Do no more, do no less. I assume he learnt it from LvG :)

really hope that someone in the mainstream media spots that the Bayern manager played for and managed Barcelona quite well, and thinks to mention it in the build up. That would be really interesting.
