Asmir Begovic: Best keeper in the Premier League according to Tony Pulis

Manchester United keeper David de Gea was voted into the team by his peers with the leading clubs dominating the vote, but Pulis says Begovic did more than enough to deserve inclusion.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina international has been linked with a move to United, Chelsea and Arsenal this summer but Pulis is far from convinced that he wants to leave the club.

"I think he has been consistently the best goalkeeper in the Premier League this season," Pulis said.

"He's been different class for us. I think the experience he's got from playing games regularly has been the biggest factor.

"Asmir has had a full run at the team this season and grown in stature because of it.

"There is no substitute for playing games and that's why I would always encourage youngsters at this football club to go out and play league football to gain experience."

think that puts all doubts over Benteke's quality to bed. Can he do it after receiving the ball to feet, in the box, totally unmarked, on a warm, sunny afternoon in Swindon? Oh yes he can! This year is definitely Liverpool's year. YNWA.

ll very well selling all midfield and strikers but unless we bring anyone in that is better than what we had then it will be a terrible transfer window in my view. Sorted out the defense but our midfield and striker options look very light.

ove it when Jose accuses others of being defensive, cynical and playing to win. If I was Wenger, I'd get that quote laminated and framed - surely the biggest compliment he's ever received from Mourinho. You've got him riled Arsene - you're relevant again!
