Thomas Sorensen: Happy to wait before speaking to Mark Hughes

The Danish goalkeeper was second-choice behind Asmir Begovic under Tony Pulis last term, and England U21 international Jack Butland has now returned to Stoke after a loan spell at Birmingham.

Sorensen, 36, has 12 months remaining on his contract, and he is keen to remain at the club and challenge for a regular place.

"I do want to be playing more and if I am in the manager's plans then great," he told The Sentinel. "I am really happy at Stoke and my family are happy. That is a big thing for me, especially at my age.

"It is a long summer and a lot can happen, but when we report back I am sure

everyone will know what the club's plans are.

"It was frustrating (last season) but I have great respect for how Asmir played. It makes it easier to accept when you are not in the team if the other guy is doing a great job.

"It doesn't reflect on my capabilities and I have not changed by ambitions, I want to get in that team and do well.

"But I have been long enough in the game to know you have to wait and see."

I

expect Pulis to have a nice Christmas dinner with his family- probably all sitting around the table wearing Christmas themed baseball caps, before he gets the call. Realistically he could end up at any number of clubs, it'll be interesting to see which club folds first.

For Foxes' Sake, Call The Pulis...

A

s a Liverpool fan, I personally hate Palace. My pick would probably be Arsenal, which is funny because it seems the vast majority of their own fans don't even like them right now.
