Alan Hutton: Out of favour at Aston Villa

Sky Sports understands Fulham, Norwich and Stoke are all keeping tabs on Scotland international Hutton as they look to bolster their defensive options in this month's transfer window.

Hutton enjoy loan spells at Nottingham Forest and Real Mallorca last season after finding himself frozen out of the first-team picture at Villa under Paul Lambert.

Mallorca and several Spanish sides made moves to sign Hutton in the summer, but a deal failed to materialise and he found himself back at Villa Park.

The 29-year-old has again failed to figure under Lambert this term and he is thought to be keen to move on to get his career back on track.

Fulham, Norwich and Stoke are all thought to be keen on bringing in a new right-back this month and former Tottenham and Rangers man Hutton is thought to figure highly on their wanted list.
