Malky Mackay: His Cardiff side face Manchester City in their first Premier Leagu

Malky Mackay's side then face Manchester City in their first home game in the Premier League.

Things won't get much easier at the Cardiff City Stadium, with the club facing Everton and Tottenham in their next two home games.

The Christmas period sees consecutive home fixtures against Southampton on Boxing Day followed by Sunderland.

2014 begins with a trip to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal, while the South Wales derbies against Swansea are scheduled for November 2nd and February 8th.

April may be considered to be the club's easiest month, with four games against Crystal Palace, Southampton, Stoke and Sunderland.

Finally, Cardiff have a tricky end to their campaign as they face consecutive trips to the North East to play Newcastle and Sunderland, before welcoming Chelsea on the final day.
