Simon Lappin: Looking to contribute

The Scottish utility man, who has yet to feature for City since their promotion to the Barclays Premier League, will be hoping to play regular football at Bramall Lane.

The former Norwich City man told the club's official website: "I am really looking forward to the challenge and this is a great opportunity for me personally.

"I want to play some games and help the lads out of the current predicament we find ourselves in.

"When you aren't playing at your club, going out on loan is a fantastic option, but first and foremost I just want to contribute to helping the lads."

t's a bloody good goal, though. Sh!t, the kid's gonna be the worlds best before we know it, isn't he? He's got the touch of genius in him. Like Neymar, but with muscles and stuff. He's doing a Ronaldo as we watch. He's bulked up to be able to ride the tackles, but he's improved technically as well. His touch is sublime. Bugger.
