Defender Richards is currently on loan at Palace from Swansea until the end of the season.

The Wales international found himself down the pecking order at the Liberty Stadium this term and he was keen to go out and get some regular first-team action.

The 21-year-old has impressed during his stint at Selhurst Park having picked up man of the match honours in a number of his six outings for the Eagles.

Richards' performances have not gone unnoticed with the likes of Norwich, Wigan, Blackburn and Cardiff all thought to be monitoring his progress at Palace.

The versatile performer is highly-regarded at Swansea, but they could face a fight to keep him if his suitors firm up their interest in his services in the summer.
