Ian Holloway: Disappointed by Palace's stuttering form

The Eagles have not won in five games - and not scored in four - to slip eight points off the automatic promotion pace.

A 0-0 draw against lowly Barnsley on Saturday summed up their recent form, but Holloway feels all that is missing is a goal.

"The games are slipping away and we wanted something slightly better than this," said the Selhurst Park boss.

"But I can't ask for anything more other than sticking the ball in the net.

"Confidence is a very simple thing but it's a very hard thing to get it. If I could bottle it and sell it I'd be a multi-millionaire.

"The way the last couple of games have gone it's hard for the lads to have that so we're trying to reinforce that."
