The Londoner - who has also acted in Channel 4 shows The Inbetweeners and Derek and BBC sitcom Rev, and is soon to appear in a new comedy for Sky - talked about his love of the Eagles and, in particular, the club's former players Vince Hilaire and Jim Cannon.

Brown also explained why he is not so enamoured with one-time Palace midfielder Alan Pardew, but did admit that he would like to go for a drink with the Newcastle boss - and hug him!
