Joe Walsh: Reported to be attracting Premier League interest

Crystal Palace are reported to have expressed an interest in Walsh as they prepare for life in the Premier League.

While promotion to the top flight has given Eagles boss Ian Holloway a healthier summer budget to work with, he is still looking for players of potential who will serve Palace well long-term.

Walsh, a 21-year-old defender, fits into that category and is considered to be ready to take a step up in class after impressing in League One last season.

The Wales U21 international is not the only man at Crawley to be attracting interest, though, with the club having made rapid progress since stepping up into the Football League ranks.

They are reluctant to see their squad ripped apart, but Low concedes that they will have to consider bids if money is put on the table.

He said: "If we get a good offer for somebody we will listen."

e're our own worst enemy. We're suicidal in defence, and we may just get slaughtered on Sunday. Other than that, I am very pleased with my team.
