Cyrus Christie: Coventry defender attracting interest from several clubs

The Sky Blues face a battle to keep hold of their best players due to their financial problems and are braced for bids for highly-rated defender Christie.

The 20-year-old, who has come through the ranks at Coventry, has made 79 appearances for the League One club, scoring three goals.

Christie is regarded as one of the best young talents in the country and he was named Coventry's Young Player of the season last term.

The likes of Stoke and Crystal Palace are thought to be admirers, while Championship sides Ipswich, Huddersfield and Derby all keeping tabs on his progress.
