Stephen Dobbie: Crystal Palace midfielder has joined Blackpool on loan

Dobbie has made two appearances for Palace this season, but he was allowed to seek first-team football elsewhere after being left out of the club's 25-man Premier League squad.

The 30-year-old Scotsman has spent two previous loan spells with the Seasiders and has linked up with Paul Ince's side as they target promotion from the Championship.

Dobbie was named on the bench for Tuesday night's away clash against the Millwall.

A statement on the Crystal Palace website read: "Midfielder Stephen Dobbie has moved to Blackpool on loan until the end of December 2013.

"Dobbie, 30 has made 17 appearances since joining on loan from Brighton in January. He has been signed in time to be available for tonight's game against Millwall at The Den."

xcellent! Not sure if he is any good as a manager (never thought about it) but the 'headbutt in the technical area' and what he said to Pelligrini were just brilliant, it was as if he was trying to recreate the end of the Alan Partridge Xmas special when Alan punched a man in a wheelchair and verbally abused Tony Heirs.
