Stephen Dobbie: Striker keen to stay at Blackpool

The forward is taking in his third loan spell at Blackpool and he has scored twice in 14 appearances since returning to Bloomfield Road in September.

He is scheduled to play the final game of his current deal with Blackpool on Sunday when his former club Brighton & Hove Albion visit the north west.

Reports suggest talks are taking place between Blackpool and Palace regarding an extension, and Dobbie wants to stay with Paul Ince's side.

"I have made no secret of how much I like playing here at this club," said Dobbie the Blackpool Gazette.

"So if it's sorted I'll be happy to stay here and do my bit.

"I am just waiting for things to be sorted. Hopefully we can get it extended until the end of the season."
