The 25-year-old's current deal with the Premier League outfit runs out at the end of the season, and he admits that he does not know what the future holds.
However, the Norwegian is confident that Palace, who are currently three points above the relegation zone in 16th, will remain in the English top flight in 2014-15.
"There have been some talks but not too much," the South London Press quotes the left-back as saying.
"I'm just focused on my football and we'll see what happens.
"It is up to the club to do what they think is best. At the moment I'm not thinking too much about that.
"I'm sure we will stay up - we have enough quality to do that and we're working hard every day.
"What happens next season [for me] is not quite sure."
