Zoumana Bakayogo: Being chased by a host of clubs

The left-back is out of contract at the end of the season and several clubs are thought to be monitoring his situation at Prenton Park.

The 26-year-old has been one of Tranmere's stand-out performers this season and he has been instrumental in helping the side to the top of the League One table.

Bakayogo was in superb form during the Christmas period and his suitors are thought to be weighing up moves for the player in this month's transfer window.

The likes of Burnley, Sheffield Wednesday and Ipswich are all thought to be tracking Bakayogo, while clubs in his native France are also lining up moves for the attacking full-back.

Tranmere would be loath to lose Bakayogo as they look to maintain their bid for promotion, but they could see their resolve tested by interested clubs this month.
