Danny Batth: Could be set for fifth loan deal in four years

Batth came through the youth system at Molineux but has only made three league appearances for the club, and therefore the club would like him to gain more first-team experience.

The defender has already been loaned out four times in the last three years, to Colchester, Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday on two occasions. He gained a League One runners up medal last season whilst at Hillsborough.

Millwall, Ipswich and Bristol City are understood to be interested in taking Batth on loan. With his contract expiring in the summer, it is unclear whether Batth's time at Wolves has come to an end.

Only last month the player rejected talk that he could leave on loan.

He said: "I'm just biding my time at the moment and waiting for my chance to come round so that when it does I'm ready to grasp it. I'm very much a part of things at Wolves now and hopefully I can do my best when the opportunity presents itself."

However, given that Batth has not played a minute of competitive football since November, a loan move may seem more attractive.
