Paul Taylor: Charged with GBH after pub brawl last year

The 25-year-old was charged with causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) following the incident at a pub in the Suffolk town in October last year.

The alleged victim, a 30-year-old man, sustained two broken fingers and a fractured eye socket, Norfolk Police said.

The forward, who broke his ankle last September during a match, will appear at Ipswich Magistrates' Court on March 18.

A force spokesman said Taylor, of Ashton Close, Rendlesham, was charged alongside Olatunde Ademuyiwa, 24, of Beechway, Liverpool, who was also charged with GBH.

Ademuyiwa was also charged with assault by beating, along with Jodie Twitchett, 24, of Ashton Close, Rendlesham, during which a 42-year-old man sustained a broken rib and a cut to the head in the same incident.
