Harry Kane: Stepping up recovery

Harry Kane: Stepping up recovery

Kane is recovering from a broken metatarsal and his return could hardly have gone better as he scored twice in the 3-1 win over West Ham.

The 19-year-old had made just two appearances for Norwich before he suffered the injury against Doncaster in the Capital One Cup at the end of September.

Kane now has his sights set on a return to contention ahead of the hectic festive schedule.

"I had a good 10 weeks rehab back at Spurs and the main thing is just to be back playing, there are no problems now so it is just about getting as many minutes as I can and then pushing on into the first team," Kane told the Norwich website.

"Everything feels good, we will just have to wait and see how long it is now before I am back.

"The team's on fire and the lads are doing great."
