Kei Kamara: New Norwich signing hoping to settle in quickly

Kamara signed for the Canaries until May from the Major Soccer League, where he had been playing for Sporting Kansas City.

The 28-year-old only had a couple of days' training with his new team-mates before making his debut as a substitute in Saturday's goalless draw against Fulham at Carrow Road.

Norwich, who are out of the FA Cup, have no game until the Premier League clash against Everton on February 23 and Kamara hopes to be fully integrated by then.

"It is a great time for the break, because it gives me a chance to work my way into the team and work my way in with the guys, and really try to learn a lot more," Kamara said.

"It is just the perfect situation for me and all I have got to do is just keep working hard, and that is what I always do.

"I believe that if I can show the coach that and what I can do, he is definitely going to give me my chance."

e was right to leave, but not just because of the money City were coming into. If I remember rightly he had a reasonable amount of chances to shine at City, but he never passed the bloody ball. Loads of aimless dribbles and 40 yard shots and not much else. I would say that if he had learnt to be a bit more of a team player he may have done better at City.
