DJ Campbell: In the dark over where he will be playing in the New Year

Campbell struggled to make an impact with Rangers under former boss Mark Hughes after injuries frustrated his start at the club.

The 31-year-old, who arrived in West London from Blackpool in summer 2011, was sent on loan with the Tractor Boys at the beginning of the current season.

He has been in impressive form for the Championship club, scoring six goals in 11 appearances to help them climb out of the drop zone after a shaky start.

Redknapp succeeded Hughes at the Loftus Road helm late last month and will look to turn QPR's own flagging fortunes around, with the Hoops currently rock-bottom of the Premier League.

Whether that revolution will involve Campbell remains to be seen and the striker is yet to discuss the matter with the boss.

"I haven't got a clue about QPR yet," he told the Daily Mirror.

"I haven't spoken to Harry Redknapp yet but I'm sure when the time's right we'll sit down and talk.

"Now I'm just trying to focus on Ipswich and push us up the league."
