Robert Green: Currently out of favour at Queens Park Rangers

Reports on Thursday suggested that the England international has emerged as a top transfer target for Championship promotion hopefuls Forest.

With it looking increasingly likely that Lee Camp will soon be on his way out of the City Ground, as his contract runs down, Forest are keen to find quality cover.

Green's name has been put forward, as he is currently out of favour at Loftus Road, making just 10 appearances for the Premier League club this season.

He only linked up with QPR over the summer, but saw his starting berth awarded to Julio Cesar upon the Brazilian's arrival from Inter Milan.

Green has now been made aware of the speculation surrounding his future, but insists he has heard nothing to suggest that he will soon be on his way to Forest.

He told talkSPORT: "This is the first I've heard about Nottingham Forest. I don't know anything about it."
