Anton Ferdinand: QPR defender in talks over loan move to Bursaspor

Ferdinand moved to QPR from Sunderland 18 months ago and has made 49 appearances during his time at Loftus Road.

However, he has fallen out of favour under Harry Redknapp in recent weeks and has not made a Premier League appearance since the Boxing Day defeat by West Bromwich Albion.

The centre-half started Saturday's shock FA Cup reverse at the hands of MK Dons, but he could now be on his way out of the club.

It is understood that the 27-year-old is holding talks over the possibility of joining Turkish side Bursaspor on a loan deal for the rest of the season.

The impending acquisition of Yun Suk-young has created the opportunity for Ferdinand to be moved on, although the South Korea international is still waiting to be granted a work permit.

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
