Anton Ferdinand: Having a medical at Bursaspor

Ferdinand travelled out to Turkey on Sunday for talks after being given permission by QPR to speak with Bursaspor.

The 27-year-old has found himself out of favour at Loftus Road in recent weeks and Harry Redknapp is willing to let him move on so that he can free up some space in his squad.

Ferdinand started Saturday's shock FA Cup defeat at home to MK Dons, but he has not made a Premier League appearance since Boxing Day.

Ferdinand is expected to join Bursaspor on a loan deal for the rest of the season if he comes through his medical and agrees personal terms.
