Bobby Zamora: Chris Samba feels striker is setting the right example to his QPR

Zamora, who missed over two months of the season with a hip injury, stepped off the bench to score the rock-bottom Rs' consolation goal in their 4-1 defeat to Swansea last time out.

Harry Redknapp's men welcome league leaders Manchester United to Loftus Road on Saturday with just 12 games remaining to preserve their top-flight status.

The West London club are seven points adrift of safety and Samba feels more of their squad need to follow Zamora's lead in the coming weeks.

The former Blackburn defender, who signed in January for a club record fee from Anzhi Makhachkala, said: "Bobby Zamora showed us what the Premier League is about.

"I think more of the players should have his attitude - an urgency that reflects we have 12 games left and must play every one like a cup final.

"We need to show great attitude and commitment on the pitch.

"We have quality, but we also have to show desire."

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.

afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!

hat is arguably the least inspiring England I have ever seen. There is not a single name in that list that makes me think I might actually want to watch this team. Not a one.
