Glyn Hodges: Moved to Stoke

Former Wimbledon, Watford and Sheffield United midfielder Hodges, who joined Rangers as head of coaching in July 2012, is expected to team up with new Stoke boss Mark Hughes at the Britannia Stadium.

"The club would like to wish Glyn well for the future and thank him for his contribution to QPR," read a brief statement on QPR's official website.

Hodges began coaching at Barnsley at the end of his 18-year playing career when he reunited with Dave Bassett.

He twice took temporary charge of Barnsley following the dismissals of former managers Nigel Spackman and Steve Parkin.

Hodges first worked as a coach under Hughes for Wales and teamed up with the former Manchester United striker at Blackburn, Manchester City and Fulham.
