Julio Cesar: Set to stay at Loftus Road says Luiz Felipe Scolari

Cesar has been linked with a move away from Loftus Road as the Championship club look to cut their wage bill.

The keeper is in Scolari's Brazil squad for their friendlies against Australia and Portugal next month.

And Scolari told a press conference at which he announced his squad: "Julio Cesar has hypothetically sorted out his situation. He is a goalkeeper we trust, we admire him as a person, and as a goalkeeper."

Scolari added: "When the window in Europe closes, his situation will have been defined, with him staying at the club (QPR).

"From then on he will fight for a place in the team, and it will be up to the manager to decide if he will be a starter."
